1. Office Assistant – Part Time
Are you proactive, hard-working and adaptable?
The successful candidate will work in our small office based in Bradley Stoke/Winterbourne to assist with day to day running of the business.
You’ll need:
* Good communication & customer service skills
* The ability to use your initiative
* Organisational skills
* Hard-working, motivated and have an eye for detail
* Strong IT/Microsoft Office skills, training will be provided on bespoke removals software
Your day-to-day duties will include:
* General office administration including;
* Dealing with customers enquiries, bookings & surveyor appointments
* Invoicing, credit control & payment processing
* Production of job sheets/waybills for removal crews
* Booking Ferries & Warehouse organisation
* Organising staff/vehicles & liaising with clients before and after moving to ensure customer satisfaction
* Prepare basic quotations & provide customer advice (Training will be given)
* Supplying clients with packing materials & general sales
Immediate Start – Permanent Full Time role.
Initial Salary Negotiable – dependent on experience/skills. (£19k – £23k)
Opportunity for advancement into a sales & managerial role (£25k +)
2. REMOVAL PORTER – Full Time & Part Time
We are looking to recruit a hard working individual to join our experienced removals team.
You’ll need:
* to be polite to customers
* to be careful and respectful with clients belongings
* the ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
* to be trustworthy and reliable
* the ability to work well with others and use your initiative
* a good level of fitness
* to work flexible hours (irregular start/finish times, nights away)
Your day-to-day duties could include:
* checking with customers which items are to be moved
* taking apart larger items of furniture for packing and removal
* removing doors and using ladders to get large pieces of furniture in or out of a building
* packing, loading effects into the truck & securing for transport.
* deliver to the client’s new home, carefully and un-damaged.
* Maintaining cleanliness of vehicles & warehouse
Full Time – Permanent Contract – (Generally working Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays)
Part Time/Seasonal – Zero hour (Casual) or 16hr Contact available – to assist full time crews during peak times
Manual Handling & Removal skills Training will be given.
Immediate Start £12.00 - £12.50 P/Hr – Depending on Experience/Skills.
Initial Salary Negotiable – dependent on experience/skills. (£24k – £26k) Plus tips
£30 overnight allowance when away.
3. REMOVAL VAN DRIVER – Full Time/Part Time
In addition to carrying out the duties required of a removal porter you will generally be responsible for each move you conduct & work as a team with the porter(s)
You’ll need:
* to be polite to customers
* to be carful and respectful with clients belongings
* the ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
* to be trustworthy and reliable
* the ability to work well with others and use your initiative
* a good level of fitness
* to work flexible hours (irregular start/finish times, nights away)
Your day-to-day duties could include:
* checking with customers which items to be moved
* taking apart larger items of furniture for packing and removal
* removing doors and using ladders to get large pieces of furniture in or out of a building
* packing, loading effects into the truck & securing for transport.
* deliver to the client’s new home, carefully and un-damaged.
* Maintaining cleanliness of vehicles & Warehouse
Permanent Contract (Not seasonal) – guaranteed minimum hours all year round. (Generally working Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays)
Clean driving license preffered, no more than 6 points
Manual Handling & Removal skills Training will be given.
Immediate Start Min £13.00 P/Hr With appropriate Experience/Skills
Initial Salary Negotiable – dependent on experience/skills. (£26k – £33k) Plus Tips
£30 overnight allowance when away.
4. REMOVAL HGV DRIVER – Full Time (Class 2)
In addition to carrying out the duties required of a removal porter you will generally be responsible for each move you conduct & work as a team with the porter(s)
You’ll need:
* to be polite to customers
* to be carful and respectful with clients belongings
* the ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
* to be trustworthy and reliable
* the ability to work well with others and use your initiative
* a good level of fitness
* to work flexible hours (irregular start/finish times, nights away)
Your day-to-day duties could include:

Initial Salary Negotiable – dependent on experience/skills. (£30k – £35k) Plus Tips
£30 overnight allowance when away.
